As Chief Product Officer at IPS, Dieter Haesslein leads the company’s product vision and strategy, overseeing the entire lifecycle of IPS software solutions. His work centers on advancing technologies that help ensure a reliable, sustainable, and cost-effective energy supply for the future.
With over 25 years of experience in software for the energy and asset-intensive industries, Dieter has held leadership roles at Shell, Bentley Systems, and SAP, where he managed SAP’s global product portfolio for asset and service
management. His deep expertise bridges technology innovation with industry needs, driving transformative solutions for utilities and infrastructure operators worldwide.
Dieter holds an MSc in Business and Engineering from TU Braunschweig and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. His academic journey also includes studies at KU Leuven, the University of Genova, and TU Cluj-Napoca.
