Philipp Metschke

As Chief Financial Officer at IPS, Philipp Metschke leads the company’s financial strategy and operations, overseeing financial planning, reporting, and compliance to ensure sustainable growth and sound performance. Working closely with the executive leadership team, he drives business efficiency, optimizes resource allocation, and enables data-driven decision-making across the organization.

In his role, Philipp plays a key role in shaping IPS’s strategic direction and long-term success. By implementing robust financial controls, fostering transparency, and championing digital transformation in finance, he ensures the company remains agile, innovative, and prepared to capitalize on emerging opportunities in the evolving software landscape.

With a strong background in business administration and commercial management, Philipp brings more than a decade of leadership experience across Siemens Mobility and HaCon; a Siemens Company, where he held senior roles including Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer. His expertise spans finance and treasury, contract and claim management, process optimization, and mergers and acquisitions, combining strategic vision with hands-on leadership.

Philipp holds an MBA in International Leadership and Finance from Friedrich–Alexander University Erlangen–Nuremberg and a Bachelor of Arts in European Business Administration. He has also completed executive programs at INSEAD Business School with distinction.
